SBA Reminds Passengers To Plan Ahead For Labor Day Holiday Weekend

The Santa Barbara Airport (SBA) anticipates a busier than usual travel weekend from today through Tuesday, September 8 during Labor Day weekend. Visitors to SBA during this time should be aware of ongoing construction in and around the Terminal vicinity.

     •          Passengers are encouraged to plan ahead and allow themselves 1.5 hours to find parking, check their luggage and go through the security checkpoint to ensure they are at their gate in time for their flight.

•          Due to Airline Terminal Project construction, visitors may experience heavier traffic than normal on the Terminal roadways.  Please exercise caution when driving in these areas.

Parking Options

•          Short Term Lot: located adjacent to the Terminal. Parking rates are $2 for the first hour or less; $1 for every hour thereafter up to $20 per day maximum.

•          Long Term Lot 1: located adjacent to the Terminal. Parking rates are $2 for the first hour or less; $1 for every hour thereafter up to $9 per day maximum.

•          Long Term Lot 2: located on Frederic Lopez Road, just off Hollister Avenue near Fairview Avenue. A free shuttle transports parkers between Lot 2 and the Terminal every 10 minutes.  Parking rates are the same as Lot 1 - $2 for the first hour or less; $1 for every hour thereafter up to $9 per day maximum.
